TSSA Goldbook©

The nationally renowned TSSA Goldbook© is a comprehensive reference guidebook that provides information about how to operate a self-storage business, including step-by-step procedures for foreclosure and eviction, legal articles, FAQs, etc. The Goldbook can help you familiarize yourself with the potential issues that your business can be faced with and the scope of the solutions legally available to you. Even if your facility is managed by a third party or if you don't own one yet, it's vital to educate yourself on the ins and outs of the business.

TSSA Official Forms

If you choose to self manage your facility, as a member you will have access to the rental agreement and supplemental forms. The TSSA Self-Service Storage Rental Agreement is available in print format and in an electronic version compatible with most management software platforms. If you plan to have a third-party management company oversee your operations, you'll want to be sure they are using the TSSA promulgated forms or forms that are compliant with Texas laws.

TSSA Legislative Watch

Texas Self Storage Association serves as your legislative watchdog. TSSA and its team of lobbyists constantly monitor bills that may be detrimental and work to ensure the legislation does not become law. TSSA actively lobbies for changes to the law that would be beneficial to members. TSSA represents the collective interests of self-storage owners in Texas. Self-Storage News Magazine

TSSA produces a bimonthly magazine that is mailed to every member and is also available to view online. Back issues of the magazine are archived online for convenience. Conference & Trade Show

TSSA's Big Ideas in Storage Annual Conference and Trade Show brings together knowledgeable self-storage industry professionals to share information with existing owners and operators, as well as individuals interested in becoming part of the industry. Speakers address the latest concerns and trends in the industry, while suppliers from every corner of the nation gather to exhibit their products and services. Learn more about this year's event.

Education
